Where did the week go?  Sorry I haven’t been able to get to my computer to properly write to you- the good news- I’m making a video today so that will be up shortly….!  It has been a busy week last week in Los Angeles- I was working on a different job beautifying everyday- which means early starts and long days!  I can’t complain, however, because I feel very blessed to have a job that I love so much- and some days it’s even hard to call it a job.  Of course, after a long work week I had to spend my weekend with my best friend in Venice.  Lucky for me they have guest house for me to stay in- where suddenly I wake up and feel like I’m on vacation.  From bike rides to breakfast to sunset BBQ’s on the beach, I feel refreshed and blessed to have such magical experiences right at my back door.  Here is a few pics from my weekend in case you  missed it on Instagram.

Meanwhile, it seems like ages ago….Milan Fashion week 2014.  It was definitely an exciting, busy, and a whirlwind of a week.  I was up and at ’em everyday- beautifying Miss Chiara Ferragni with the Redken team.  Amongst all of the busy moments, I was able to manage to squeeze in a shoot with the brand An Italian Theory.  It was for their Fall 2014/15 collection.  The brand is from the eclectic mind of Alessandro Enriquez- in which he takes life as ‘An Italian Theory’: his ironic, unconventional, and colorful philosophy of Italianity- narrated through fashion, food, and design.

I love all of the pieces of this collection and would love to have one of each in my wardrobe.  It’s bright, whimsical, ironic, and beautifully made (duh…it’s Italian!).  I got to beautify all of the lovely faces of the shoot- and I love how it was shot on an endless white background.  It was extra fun because I was basically dancing around and hanging out with my friends all day…. but making people look amazing at the same time- which is my favorite thing in the world.

Here is a link to a behind the scenes video- I thought you might enjoy to see what a photo shoot looks like.  Of course, we are in Italy- with Alessandro- so dancing is required. Xx
