Two Minute Makeup

My beauty philosophy: less is more.  I am a huge fan of being efficient when it comes to makeup, as you may know by now.  That doesn’t mean the end result will be boring, I think this philosophy makes for an effortless-chic look.

In collaboration with Lord & Taylor, I created a two minute makeup look using all stick/cream products.  I am such a huge fan of these types of products because they are user friendly, portable, and multi-taskers.

Here’s what I used:

Four fantastic sticks, and a finished look in under two minutes!

For the eyes:  I used Clinique Chubby Shadow Sticks.  I used the darker on my eyelids in Ample Amber, and the lighter in the corners of my eyes and my brow bone in Bountiful Beige.  No brushes required, I applied straight from the stick and blended the edges with my fingers. I love these because they are easy to layer, and once they are set, they are set.

For the Cheeks:  The one and only Nars The Multiple Stick in Orgasm.  Again, this stick is a multi-tasker.  It can be used on the cheeks, eyelids, lips, or as a highlight.  Orgasm is definitely one of Nars’ best selling colors, and it looks good on every skin tone.  This glides on the skin like velvet, and is really easy to apply and to blend.  I love the pop of glow it gives on my cheeks!

For the Lips:  There’s nothing like a lip pencil, especially when it’s SUPER SIZED!  I love this Art Stick from Bobbi Brown!  In the video I was wearing Dusty Pink, and in these photos I switched it up and put on Bright Raspberry.  These pencils are a lipstick meeting a lipliner, and are such an amazing 2-for-1.  I used the thicker part of the pencil to fill in my lips, and then the pointed part to create the perfect edge.  It has a creamy matte finish.

Watch this video so you can visually see how easy it is to achieve this look.  I love with all of these products they are so compact and easy to travel with if needed.  I hope this two minute makeup tutorial is helpful for you, and inspires you for a new go-to routine for a perfect look every time.  XOXO

Love this concept! Less is more especially when it comes to time management.

When using the nars stick, would it be too much glow if you also used the RMS living luminizer to highlight?
