Wow, just wow. Just when I thought Armani beauty couldn’t nail it even more than they have in the past, they came out with a new Liquid Lipstick that I cannot sing more praises about. Ladies, let me introduce you to the Giorgio Armani Lip Magnet. If you have followed me for a while, you may recall my past obsession with the Armani Lip Maestro. (Also an incredible velvet textured long wear lipstick…..) The lip magnet is the new and improved version, with an even lighter texture and more pigment.
It’s a long wearing (8-10 hours) semi-matte liquid lipstick, that has a technology that is four times thinner than other liquid lipsticks. It is truly undetectable on the lips. I have to say it is especially surprising because you forget that it’s on your lips, have the panic that you need to reapply, then look in the mirror to realize that your lipstick is not only still on, but it’s perfect. Not to mention the fact that it’s also completely smudge-proof. I’ve tested it, and it doesn’t move.
They call the lipstick a “second skin”, and I couldn’t think of a better way to describe it. I’m sure we’ve all experienced it with liquid lipsticks: we love the idea of them and like them for the first hour, then deal with the fact that they start pilling up all over the lips. This one does not. I have tested it and it truly feels like you have nothing on your lips.
The formula is so pigmented, so you only need one swipe and you’re covered. They actually created it with a technology that after you apply it, the color is twice as intense thanks to a “gradual evaporation” phenomenon. It comes in 18 shades, and there is for sure a color (or two, or five…) for everyone. These are some of my favorite colors here, and I would suggest if you have it accessible to try it on or at least swatch on your hand before buying as the color tends to be a little more intense than it may appear in the packaging. Moving into fall and winter, I have to say that #600 Front Row and #403 Vibrato are the two “it colors” you need to have in your makeup wardrobe. Front Row is a low key, burgundy lip with some plum undertones, and it will wear well with all of your fall wardrobe. Then moving into the holidays, Vibrato is the perfect brick red. (I’m wearing #507 Garconne in the pictures.)
I haven’t even gotten into one of the best parts of this product yet: the applicator. It’s small, triangular, and flat, so it will give you a perfect and precise application every time. The design makes you able to maneuver with incredible control and ease. It has the perfect amount of product on the applicator, so you aren’t using too much or too little when applying.
They really thought of everything with this product. Silky, lightweight, pretty, pigmented, and easy to apply. What more do you need?! I am a huge fan of this product, and since we live in the world of lipstick, I highly suggest you add this to your collection. You won’t be disappointed, in fact, you’ll be excited every time you pull it out. Xx
